Wendy Francisco's Art
Wendy was born in Boston, MA. She grew up in S. California in a family of artists and musicians. She has a degree in art, teaches art, and has a very diverse portfolio of two and three dimensional work.

All of Wendy's art reflects her passion for nature, life, and whimsey. Wendy is a naturalist, and has studied the objects of her painting deeply. She spent hours sketching lanscapes, plants, trees, and the skeletons and muscles of many animals as a ten year old. She spent her growing up years riding horses on the mountains and beaches of Southern California back when they were open and wild.

Fine Art

Wendy enjoys painting in oils, acrylic, and pastel. She has shown her work and won best in shows and many best of medias. Wendy operated her own successful gallery and now has an online gallery.

Wendy has illustrated several published childrens books. She enjoys cartooning and ink drawing. Her illustrations are some of her best selling pieces.

Wendy has taken thousands of photos primarily for painting and illustration reference. But she has amassed a wonderful photo collection.
Her recent photo of "Wesley the Owl" will be released by Simon and Schuster in the spring of 2008 as a book cover.
