Don't Forget God!
It's amazing how much humans forget God. When things get tough, we'll try anything and everything before we call on Him. We often remember Him as a last resort instead of a first one!
The Bible encourages us not to forget God's benefits! God wants us to take advantage of all the good things He has for us! He wants us to have health, peace, safety. He wants to bless our homes and families. He wants to give us the desires of our hearts.
It's easy to get focused on the wedding, and miss the marriage. Being a Christian isn't just getting born again, it's enjoying a relationship with God everyday.
God wants to become intertwined with every aspect of our lives. But we have to open the door and allow Him in.
We humans are funny. We don't want to pester God with things that seem too small, and we don't think He will do the big things. We also think that He gets bothered if we ask for too many things at once.
The supply of God is unending. And so is His power, love, and willingness! Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock..." That is a verse written to Christians!
God's greatest desire is to fellowship with us, and to be an active benefit in our lives. It's up to us to include Him, to converse with Him, and to believe Him
He's on the doorstep... don't forget Him!
